For the summer months, there will be one 9 AM service offered each Sunday through Aug. 31 (Labor Day weekend) in air-conditioned Sherlock Hall. For more informaiton, call the church office. On Sunday, Sept. 7, the two services at 8 and 10 AM will return, in Sherlock Hall.

Donate School Kits for children in need

Summer is here, and parents and kids don’t want to think about school but, before you know it, it will be time to get school supplies. As in year’s past, the Outreach Committee is asking its parish family to remember to buy extra school supplies for School Kits which will be shipped to Church World Service. They will deliver the school kits to needy children throughout the world, during the school year. Please note that the list for the School Kits has changed. Please try to adhere to the items as indicated; one pair of blunt scissors (rounded tip); three 70-count spiral or tape-bound pads of 8” by 10-1/2” rules paper, or pads with 200-210 sheets of ruled paper - no loose-leaf or filler paper, please; one 12-inch ruler; one hand-held pencil sharpener; one large pink eraser; six new No. 2 pencils with erasers; one box of 24 crayons (only 24); and one 12” by 14” or 14” by 16” finished cotton cloth bag with cloth handles.Pack all items inside the cloth bag before dropping it off at the church office. Please adhere to the list as close as possible. Make this a family project and assign items to others to help assemble items for the completed kit. Please bring in completed kits to the church office by Sunday, Sept. 14. Many thanks to all who donate to this effort every year.

Bishop's Visit moved to Oct 12

Bishop George Councell will do the Installation of Mother Gina as our Priest in Charge and celebrate Comfirmation and Reception on Sunday, Oct. 12, at 3 PM. Contact Mother Gina to learn more about an Adult Exploration Course for those seeking Confirmation or Reception into the Episcopal Church.
